This February the documentary Ithemba, directed by Elinor Burkett, is the chosen film to be screened at our Venues Network. Also this documentary opened the 15th edition of the International Documentary Film Festival, DocsBarcelona.

Ithemba
is a film about self overcoming, about music against prejudices and a song of hope in a country, Zimbabwe, sunk by the economic, politic and health crisis.

The premiere of the documentary took place the 2nd of February at Cinemes Renoir Floridablanca and had the presence of the directors, Errol Webber and Elinor Burkett, Oscar winner in 2010 for the short documentary Music by Prudence.

The documentary can be screened, as always, in all the venues of the Network though all month.
